It's my birthday Y'all!! 👑

I know it's been a while so let me provide some updates:

I finally finished unpacking! *cues the applause*👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I know that you guys are impressed by the fact that it only took me a month and a half to get unpacked. Also, when I say "unpacked" I mean I've sorted what can be done and everything else has been stuffed into a closet. Either way, kudos to me!
Florida is HOT. Me and baby Rocco are really doing our best to adjust but this humidity is an absolute beast. I work out 3-4 times a week and I'm thirsty ALL the time. I can't get enough water or Gatorade in me to keep up. Pray for ya girl because it's been tough, fo real!🙏🏾
My natural hair is really starting to pop so the big chop is coming soon. So Curlfriends, don't be afraid to hit me up and give me some advice on how to make natural hair flourish in the heat cuz I'm gon' need it!

Anyways, it's still my birthday!

So let me also address the most asked questions:

How do I feel? Certainly not older, but definitely wiser. The past 7 months have been a whirlwind of changes and readjustment. Anticipating a big move required a certain amount of flexibility and prohibited me from becoming too complacent in my current state. Now that I am settling in, I'm determined to keep the same mindset in an effort to prevent myself from getting too comfortable and stunting my personal and professional growth. Pray for my strength though, cuz Y'all know I love naps. 🛌🏾
What am I doing? Not much. *collective gasps* Yeah, I know. The birthday queen is actually taking it easy this year and not because I really want to. I could have easily planned a crazy weekend of super fun events but I only have one friend in FL and I want her to not throw away all of our fruitful years of friendship because I have driven her insane with thousands of birthday plans. #LoveYouLaurenBlue
